etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Nissan Frontier- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the etrailer Class III trailer hitch receiver on a 2022 Nissan Frontier. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. And the great part about it is the cross tube is pretty well hidden underneath the rear bumper, so all that's hanging down is gonna be the receiver end here. So that way you can still hook up your accessories but still maintain a very clean OEM look. You're gonna see it has a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening with a reinforced collar, so that's gonna be great for a number of different accessories, whether it be a ball mount, a bike rack, or a cargo carrier. Now, when you put your accessories in your receiver, you're gonna make sure you have a 5/8 hitch pin and clip. more

Now this is what our hitch is gonna look like when installed and great part about that is most of the crossbar is hidden by the rear bumper. So really all that you see hanging down is gonna be the actual receiver tube opening and the plate style safety chain loops. So overall you get a nice clean OEM appearance and all the utility. more

Today on our 2017 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com class 3, two inch trailer hitch receiver.The hitch is going to be a great addition to your frontier because not only is it going to give you the opportunity to tell all of your trailers, but you can also use it for hitch-mounted accessories as well.So my opinion, that hitch is probably going to look the best out of all the ones available, and that's really due to the fact that it has this carbide matte black finish. It's really just going to blend in to the back of the front tier. And you're really not even going to be able to notice it all that much.Since this is a class 3 hitch, we're going to have that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and a reinforced collar for extra strength. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Nissan Frontier - Draw-Tite- Video

Speaker 1: Today on this 2017 Nissan Frontier, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75282.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. What's great about this hitch is that it's mostly hidden behind our rear bumper. The only part that you'll see is the actual Class III 2" receiver itself hanging down below our bumper. Now, this hitch has a very factory-like appearance, and that's because of our safety chain plates that we have welded to the back of our receiver. These come in at an angle and they're easy to hook up to, and they have a large diameter opening to make it easy to hook on most safety chains from our trailers.We have two holes on the side of our receiver. The larger diameter one closer to the front of the vehicle, that's our industry standard 5/8" diameter pinhole to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories with a pin and clip. more

Speaker 1: Today on this 2017 Nissan Frontier we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 13241.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. What's great about this hitch is that it's completely hidden behind our rear bumper. The only part of the hitch that you'll see hanging down is our actual class III 2 by 2 inch receiver. On the bottom of our hitch welded to it are our tubular steel safety chain loops to attach our safety chains from our trailer. These have a fairly decent size opening, so we shouldn't have much problem, if any at all, hooking on most size safety chains.On the side of our receiver, you'll find our industry standard 5/8 of an inch diameter hitch pin hole to secure any of our hitch mounted accessories. You can pick up a pin and clip on our website as part number PC3. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Nissan Frontier - Draw-Tite- Video

Today on our 2016 Nissan Frontier, we're going to take a look and show you how to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame custom fit trailer hitch receiver. This is a Class III hitch offering the 2 inch by 2 inch opening. The Part Number is 75282. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see visually, you've got your safety chain connection points and your receiver tube opening there that you can see, and then you'll see that cross tube a little bit as we run across here. Now that we've got our 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, this is going to work out really well for your cargo carriers, ball mounts, bike racks, whatever needs you might have, and a reinforcement collar around the end here. It's got kind of more of the rounded edge to it, and it will be tucked in behind our bumper just a little bit here, so I don't think we'll have to worry about bumping into it with our knees or anything like that. You'll see the double pin holes here on the side. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Nissan Frontier - Curt- Video

Today in 2014 Nissan Frontier, we'll be installing the Curt Class 3 two inch receiver tube hitch, part number one three two four one. Here's a look at our hitch once it's installed. The only thing that's really visible here underneath the bumper is our two inch by two inch receiver tube, chain hold downs, and our pre-drilled pinhole for our five eighths hitch pin. Our hitch has a nice square cross tube with a fully welded design and a black powder coated paint coverage. This hitch is capable of 500 pounds of tongue weight and 5000 pounds of towing capability. If you add a weight distribution hitch, you can have up to 800 pounds of tongue weight and 8000 pounds of towing capability. Couple that with a limited lifetime warranty, it's a really nice product for our vehicle. Next, I'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. Now, let's go ahead and install our hitch. First we'll go ahead and point out the mounting locations that we'll be using to secure our hitch to the vehicle. Today on our 2006 Nissan Frontier, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite, Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver, in a class 3 with a 2 inch opening on the receiver. Part number 75282. Here's what the hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch, such as, a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin whole to the outer most edge of the bumper is approximately 3.5 inches. From the top of the opening and the receiver to the ground is approximately 16.25 inches. Now let's go ahead and point out our mounting locations we'll be using to install our hitch. There's a total of three on each side, in each location is an existing weld nut. Before we can put our hitch up though, we're going to need to clean out each of the existing weld nuts. To do this we use a little spray lubricant and a half-inch nylon tooth brush. more
